Competition Grudge Racing @ Maple Grove

Would any of you guys be up for making a trek to Reading PA and going to the Friday Night Grudge Racing at Maple Grove Raceway? I think it would great to get a lot of us together and go show the ricers and cameros what a ol smokey truck can do... ... . Let me know your thoughts.

Doug, My friend and I went up about 3 weeks ago. We were the only two diesels there. It was a bit crowded and we could only get 3 runs in. We had lots of people asking questions after each run, especially after the old Blue DD truck filled not only the starting line, but the entire track with smoke. We would love to meet up with you and check your new twin setup. What dates where you thinking of?

I haven't got a specific date in mind... ... The 11th or 18th would be all I could do in July. Maybe August would be a good month as well.

We just pulled the HX-50 off (Actually it is the DD Max boost II H2E) and put it up for sale. He has the 40 back on and loves it for street driving. I am still trying to push twins on him. At maple grove the had the big turbo on and couldn't get a good start. He never got into the 13's but he would hit 100 to 101. His last run we put a softer spring in the afc and he actually over fueled on the start. Black smoke turned to white and he had to lift off until the boost came up. I was right behind him in the burn out area and had to sit for almost 2 min waiting for the smoke to clear! the smoke kept triggering the staging lights!

Hi Kevin,I'm still working on dialing it in.

I'm still working on the cold air intake for the twins. Until I work all the little details out I dont want to take it far. Hopfully I will see you guys at Capitol on the 27th. Merv
