GTP38R PSD Turbo

Has anyone retrofitted one to fit a Cummins? With a different exhaust housing, I think it would be a decent single. The compressor map is nice and wide, peak boost would be obtainable for anyone without head studs (40 psi)



Should be able to support 450 HP just fine!!!

i wouldnt recommend it... IMHO the GTP38R isnt very durable. . that is comming from myself and a few others expierence with them on the PSD's. i was pushing 450hp on my PSD and broke the shaft running about 38lbs of boost. same results from a few of the guys that have about the same set up as mine. i think the shaft is just too weak.

That's not good, my stock 3rd gen will hit 34lbs of boost... .

do they have that new garrett "boreless" compressor wheel? supposed to make everything stronger?
