Santa brought me a set of Autometer Z series gauges... f/o psi, egt & boost. Installed them today in the A pillar mounting pod. Thanks to the many postings on these items, my installation went smooth. Mounted my boost probe in the air horn, pre-turbo mount for the pyro and the "modified" banjo with flex hose up to the f/o sending unit.

So far I look ok with f/o psi, idling around 11-12. When f/o psi is checked at WOT are you guys doing this under load or in the driveway?

I've owned the truck for close to 2 years now... no complaints, love it! Closing in on 30k, fluid changes (trans & coolant) around the corner. I've been a member of TDR for roughly the same amount of time.

Enjoy the threads and the education that goes with them. Hope everyone is off to a good new year. Thanks again, the gauge pod is  .

You don't necessarily have to go WOT for a prolonged amount of time to see if it looks ok or not. I good go-pedal-to-the-floor for a few seconds will pull your PSI down in a hurry.

p. s. my neighbor has had a 99 since 99 and I finally convinced him to hook up my Briarhooper gauge. His pump was completely dead (gauge showed a vacuum), he didn't even believe it so we had to walk back over to mine and show him that the gauge worked.
