Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) guages installed

I got my guages installed today. Boost and Pyro. Decided to do the fuel at a later time or periodically test fuel pressure. I like the isspro ev guages. Can hit 24 lbs with now trailer. Pyro responds quickly also. Lots of wires for the pyro. has a box that goes under the dash. worries me what the temps were when pukking because I can get 900 degrees pretty quickly in wot accereration. Pre- turbo mounted. The pickup had an ez on it before I bought it and the boost elbow is still there. Has a hex screw in the middle of it to adjust it. Should I turn the boost down until i can afford more upgrades? Probably has set codes. How do you check the codes?
