Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Guess my hp....

Just bought a sweet '98 12v quad cab from TDR member tschwab.



Here's the info on it:

'98. 4 Bright White QC, 2WD, 12V, 3. 54, AT, DTT VB & TC, PDR Installed and Super-Tuned 3K GSK w/ TST #10. Bosch 215's, 4" Exhaust, aFe Mega Cannon, Rancho 9000's, DSS, Mag-Hytec dd trans pan & diff cover, Heavy Duty PDR inter-cooler boots & spring clamps, KDP dead by tab method.



It has never been dynoed. Does anyone have a ballpark idea of what my rwhp is??? I will dyno it eventually, but was just curious. Oo. Oo.

I'm gunna guess a pretty hot 370hp. That is truely a WAG. Let us know what you get after you dyno it.

I'm gonna guess about 300. I have an Auto. I dynoed with 215's a 6plate and 14cm exhaust housing on the turbo at 304.

Nope, I couldn't get a 7. 3L... Oh well, I think it is a blessing in disguise. The rear seat in the '98 is actually wider than the seat in my '99, and all three car seats definitely fit in the back!



I hope to make the next Piers Dyno day to see what this puppy can do!

350 is definately a good base number. Sounds like you have a good running truck there.

i would also like to know who much hp i have. i have 181 dv's,#0 plate,370's,3k gsk and my timing is at 16*. im going to have it dynoed in october but that is to long to wait. thanks
