Well, after 212,000 miles my stock torque converter is starting to slip while pulling or racing D/A's and SD's. (A good reason to upgrade!)
I'm going to call DTT Monday but in the mean time I thought I would ask what converter, 89%, 91% or 93%, you "guys" think? Pro’s and Con’s, etc... ...
The truck is a 95 auto, trans-go shift kit, 4x4 that has about 285-305 rwhp. and is used mostly for commuting but pulls trailers about 10,000 miles a year; Trailer weight varies from 1,500lbs to 20,000 lbs.
On a side note: I occasionally go to the track with it.
Thanks,
Breck Livingston
P. S. Anyone in mid-Michigan with a DTT torque converter?
