Suprem Court considers Car Search Rules

Ok Figure out this puzzle HELP with bad addiction!

Just curious...

What's with the sudden rash of gun posts?

I like guns as much as the next guy, and am for them.

It just pricked my curiosity about all the new gun posts.

Is there a new law about to be passed?

Anybody got the 4-11 ?

Well if Kerry gets in office us gun owners are going to have to fight his buddies off with a stick cause our guns will be in jeopardy.

I think a few guys have gotten the bug and are using the TDR as a source of info which is fine by me. Maybe we should start another forum for guns or recreational stuff???

I think the "AWB" is due to expire in September. ;)

Just wondering in the back of my mind what the Dem's are dreaming up to replace it.

I read somewhere that Kerry's claim to handling the gun deal is large armory's where your gun will be stored. If you check it out to go hunting you have to account for what shells you used. I wish I could find where I read that load of crapola at. He fully supports the UN and they fully support the notion that no SERVANTS should be allowed to have weapons. I've been buying a few new guns myself in addition to loads of ammunition for my pistols before he gets ahold of anything.

No support for Kerry here, but ya might be interested in knowing whats coming out of the white house about the AWB ban that expires in Sept … and I quote “Washington, DC - U. S. Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif. ) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY) welcomed the announcement that President George W. Bush supports the reauthorization of the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban, which is set to expire in 2004. ”

Over my dead body!

I don't give a crap who you think you are... it's gonna take a battallion of Army guys or at least a squad of well trained Marines to get my guns out of my house to an "armory".

Good thing I live in the sticks... I wouldn't spend another dime on my pickup, probably sell it in fact, buy every weapon I could get my hands on, hide out in the mountains and wait for them jerks to come and find me! :D

I'm not paranoid or nothin' though... . the voices in my head tell me to do this stuff!

Well I didn't want to turn this into a political thread but I think it needs some clarification. Bush did not pass the AWB, Clinton did. Bush has not said that he supported the ban, one of his spokesmen said he did. His attorney general has said that he supports the second amendment unlike his predecessor Janet Reno.

It is much harder to reverse what a previous dork did that is why it is so important to fight this stuff now. I would rather Bush let this one slide than commit political suicide and let Kerry take over. Let me ask these questions: Since Bush has been in office how many anti-gun bills have passed? Do we want to let some small details get in the way of another 4 years of freedom? I think the smart thing for Bush to do is to add another year to the AWB in the name of "research" and then smash it when he gets a second term.

Bush in 2004!

Yep, all my fault, most the posts are mine. Sometimes I try an old hobby and it sparks my interest again and off I go! I did go to the expo center gun show here in the Springs, just caught the end of it Sunday afternoon after what, shooting at the range of course!

But my sudden spark of interest can be blamed on KBennett for letting me tinker with his collection a week ago, and the gun that let me shoot his M7 carbine 7. 62 at the range yesterday, sweet gun!

Does this mean that our politicians wouldn't be allowed to carry weapons? Aren't elected officials SERVANTS of the people?

If those dang politicians would look at it this way, maybe this gun thing would be a non issue. I don't understand why anyone would let the UN have any control over our laws. They can all go straight to H... ... . !!!! They AIN'T!! taking my guns!!

Hmmm, Thanks Guys.

I've been wanting to get a gun, but just not much time in a day. I allready work for 20 hours, and sleep for 5 everyday. :-laf.

Gun Owners

" An armed society is a Polite society. " T. Jefferson. As much as Teddy Fat Boy hates guns & gun owners, his bodyguards have full autos. Wasn`t there some deal about his guys not being papered a few years ago? Can`t remember now. I too am invested in precious metals: brass & lead! :D Don.
