i was re-installing my oil pan plug on the ole 94 and ***SNAP***.

plug broke into 2 pieces.

called the only parts place open on sunday and they said ,,yep,,the computer shows we have one.

got there and the plug the computer said was the right one was for a rice beater oil pan or something(very small).

anyway,,i gotta have this thing running for the morning,,wandering what to do now?

got home,,wife says tom/ tmacc(tdr handle) called so i returned his call explained what happen and asked where can i find an oil pan plug today?

he says,,i have an extra!

i say ok,,but we are over an hour away from each other.

he says,,you want it?,,start driving and we will meet in the middle.

1/2 hour later i had the plug and headed back home

Paging Dr. TMACC--Dr. TMACC !!!!,,My only question for you ICEMAN is this one,,Since the weather around here was rather on the knarly side today,Did the good doctor have those rather radical looking B. O. M. B. ing goggles on when he pulled into the parking lot????,,I have got to get a photo of them on him to post here so everyone can see them,,Can picture it already in my mind,knarly weather(snow,sleet,freezing rain and rain)and Tom spooling up with his trick goggles on looking for truck to help fix,,Tom,hats off and a great job today,,Nice to see our members gelling so well... ... . Your welcome. Fred-rock's only 25 miles. No problem. Had to go to a Home Depot anyway. Just paying forward from when Dave D helped me out of a jam after Cummins gave me the wrong fuel filter (1st change)and me, in my wisdom had to change it the day before having to drive to my sister's for Xmas. The old o-ring had swelled too big to go back on. On a Sun. no less. Don't you hate those "Oh, Sh*t WTH do I do now?" moments?



Hammer, Cut me a little slack there. The specs are only 1. 50 or is it 1. 75. ( My minds not what it use to be either) It's not like they're coke bottles or anything. Your time will come.

Hey guys, just for the record, I have a spare plug if it ever happens again to somebody else.
