BWillard,
When I replaced my injectors with the 275's the one thing that was pointed out to me for difference was that my stock (H. O. ) injectors as you called them, had 5 holes in them. The 275'2 came with 7 holes that were smaller in diameter. The explination that was given to me at that time by a very trusted Diesel mechanic in McMinnville, Or. was that the reason for more horse power was a better atomization of fuel because of the smaller holes and in that there were 2 more of them.
I picked up about 1 mpg when I installed them

Research the pressure output of your VP and then look at the pop-off pressure of a set of 275's. I think that would be the key to deciding on which injectors you want.
I know that I am very happy with mine and have all the power I need. I'm not planning on going much beyond where I am now. I do know that if I elect to put my foot into the throttle at 40 mph on the freeway, nothing that Furd or Chubby builds has been able to keep up with me. That includes ones with stickers that say "BANKS" on them. Not saying I can't be beat, just have not run into one of them yet.

I have a couple of guys here where I work that run Duramax and Ford. They are always kidding me about having a little truck cause I have the short bed and at one time declared that they had the better rig. Thats fine. When I offer to bring both trucks (theirs and mine) to the same weight and then put on the load of their choice to both at the bottom of a particular hill, they kind of hem and ha around and back of real quick.
I think you would be real happy with a set of 275's. And besides when you get use the them, you can always move up another 100 hp with a set of stage III from one of the vendors that prowl this forum. Good luck in you choice and have fun. -Wally-
