H.P & torque on 2008

Thinking of upgrading. What is the H. P. and torque ratings on a 2008/ auto trans? Are these good trucks or did they have teething problems on the first few years of the 6. 7?

Haven't read much on them as I still mostly keep up on the old 5. 9 2nd gen's.

For pickups: 350 HP and 650 lbs torque for auto (de rated to 610 ft lbs for G56).



Cab/chassis are 610 lbs torque and (I think) 350 HP

I upgraded from a 2nd gen and couldn't be happier. Just make sure the fuel economy and power reducers are eliminated and you'll be golden.

thanks guys... I love my 97, wish I could have afforded a turbo yet, that would have finished it off. The Goerend trans and T. C. and the injectors and #6 plate make it a blast to drive, but I am starting to think I want something I can just get in and tow with, without modifying it and having to watch gauges and flip mystery switches and watch EGT's (OH NO am I getting old?)
