H1C vc WH1C part interchange?'s

I have a mix of parts here can aWH1C mapwidth enhanced compressor housing fit a H1c same size non mapwidth enhanced etc? I would like to try to swap them I haven't had the turbo off yet . . iplanned to do this swap when I changed the turbine housings.

You can swap the parts, but the compressor wheels need to stay with their housings.

I have a WH1C wheel and housing on my turbo. The wheel is larger than the one on the H1C that I had. I could fit the WH1C housing over the H1C wheel, but could not assemble the H1C housing onto the WH1C wheel.

You will want the MWE groove anyway as it stopped the flutter I was getting.

There is a picture of two turbos on another site. H1C and WH1C. There are three pics (or four) and the units shown are very much different. I don't recall what jumped out but thinking it's the exhaust housing that is held on with a T-Bolt clamp... ... ... ... ... .....



I was going to ask Jay about this as he has one on his truck and wanted to know if I was seeing things. From what Jay has told me he has a 16cm housing but I can't figgure how he fastened the housing onto the center bearing section of a WH1C as it won't stay in place... ... ... ... ... ... .....

mummn I will look at my stuff again. . Yeah jay I will bring my turbo "pile " and you can bring yours. . my WH1c mwe housing has a bad compressor wheel or turbine wheel . . any how i was thinking of swapping the mwe housing onto my h1c turbo center section and wheel?. . any how I;l bring em with me
