I think the H2 wheels look pretty good! Especially since you installed the OEM Dodge center caps. Not many people will know they're H2 wheels.

Why not. We got the same axles that GM uses, the same transfer case, the same injection system.

you are going to need a lathe, or the equivalent. Of course you could use a semi-round file and diligently take some off, but I doubt you could keep it true.

Lugs center them and provide the clamping force. I have a couple picture of how I did it in my reader rig. I used a 3/4" double handed drill and a 4 3/4" hole saw, then cleaned it up with a deburring tool on a drill. The center hole does not need to be exact as the SRW trucks are lug centric not hub centric.

Thanks. Do all 4 need to be done? If the center doesn't need to be perfectly centered, than the way you did it looks to be the best.

How was it to do the center covers?

Looks good!

Here's a shot of the caps, you have to remove 7/8" as shown. I made a jig on my table saw and then set the blade height so it left just a little holding the piece being cut off. Be sure to take into account the blade thickness.

Is the offset the same on the Hummer rims as on our's? Is there any more rubbing problems than with stock Dodge rims?

Is was stated that the hole needs to be 4. 774" +/- . 003 -- what is the original hole diameter? IE, how much has to be removed?

Thanks.

A reamer that size would cost more than the wheels!

I don't mean to buy one. I might have one in some of my junk here. Or I could borrow one from someone. Lots of toolmakers around this part of the country.

Once you get to that size of hole, boring is necessary. It could be done on a lathe or mill either one, but for a perfect hole reaming or grinding won't get it.
