H2 wheels and 315' how do you like the combo

getting ready to do H2 wheels and 315's, how do you like them. What tires are you guys running. What a about a spare fitting under the truck? What lift and how much if any do you guys recomend.

I bought mine last summer with tires from Oklahoma City Hummer for $450. I guess I got them at the right time. Anyhow, I run the H2 takeoff with the BFG A/T 315/70/17 and LOVE it. Looks really good and can't get them to rub. I think the H2 wheels have about 1/2" more backspacing than stock.

I have had them for about a year. Paid $700 shipped all the way north to Canada. Ran them with no lift for 8 months before putting KORE suspension and bushwacker flares on. They never rubbed with no lift but I could not get a mud flap on the front either. With the Kore and flares I now have front flaps and am no longer spraying rocks down the side of my truck with the extra coverage. The paint sure is 'delicate' on these trucks I like the look way better with the Kore which is 2. 5" front and 1" rear lift I believe. The ride is way better though and the tires don't look so crammed into the wheel wells. Wouldn't be without the flares up where I live.

:--) WOW! I have 3 sets (not chrome) that I got on eBay. Most expensive set was $136 and cheapest was $76. I could have them gold plated and still be less than that.



Also got 2 sets of the rubber for $300/4 like new.

Mine had brand new rubber on them and $200 was to ship them to the far far north. Cheaper than tire alone up here

What kind of machining work needs to be done to the wheels for them to fit?

I have a set of silver ones with no tires just the wheels, make offer. I am outta colorado.

was looking for chrome ones on e bay about 1000. 00 bucks w tires but still need to get centers drilled out and trim your caps to fit. Tires alone new are 820. 00 mounted and balanced. at BJs. I don't know what rims to get like the welds super single IIs 296. 00 each :--)
