I'm running the 285 version of the BFG's on my H2 rims and love them. The 315's were just too wide w/out flares. No worries about maybe rubbing or maybe not as well. Just my $. 02 worth.
Here's a shot of them 285's. Tirerack.com was my cheapest find on these at $145 a tire. They were backordered for about three weeks, but the savings on five of them versus other places was worth the wait. See pics in this thread.
I can find the H2 wheels, but nobody wants to machine them to fit. Does anybody know someone in the southeast Texas area to do the work or somewhere I can buy them already machined.
I had mine done locally at a machine shop here in Giddings. H&K Machine, they charged me $25 per rim and the fit and finish was excellent. Not in SE Tx though, may help, may not.
