We've reached the HX40's limit in our racer. Time to move up to an H2E. I need to know how it needs to be modified to fit the 12 valve truck. Any findings on it's reliability would be very helpful. At the Muncie race, the TDR came together and helped put our little damaged racer back together again. I need to prevent that damage from happening again.

the h2e has been able to sustain 58psi boost(15psi over its map) easily, the problem is it has no waistgate, you need to make a exhaust blowoff valve(turbonetics makes one) to fit between the manifold and the different flange of the h2. If you do this you will gain around 150 cfm over the hx40 on the compressor side. The exhaust side comes in the 17cm2 smallest version.

Hope this help. good luck

I'm not sure what you mean chris, I think you mean the blowoff valve from turbonetics. You have to make a divided spacer to fit the same outlets as the manifold, weld the blowoff mounting bracket to the top and route the waisted gas either to the exhaust behind the turbo, or out itself. This will release drive pressure adjustabley to the point of what you desire for boost. That way you don't keep blowing turbos dew to overspeed. Boost is not always a good thing if you don't get enough air in but are making boost dew to heating air, hot air expands making more boost but not always carrying more oxygen. You have all of that you need in a bottle. Good luck
