Car Stereo in Fifth Wheel-Product Advice?

Last weekend I had to go to the RV dealer a pick up some more enzimes for the black tank. when I got there they were having an open house. For one day only they had diamond plate pickup tool boxes any size on sale for $150.

what a shame I have a topper on my truck. I wanted to buy one just because of the price.

For $150 I wonder how good of quality they are. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Got to wonder why you think adding enzymes (or any other additive) is needed for a black water tank. Filll it up and dump it out, flush with water. Save your money for beer and other essentials.

I should start this process by saying that we dump the tank once a week when we travel... or leave it open when we're connected to a sewer. .

We empty the black tank before we head for home, add 10 - 15 gals of water and a cup of washing machine soap... . we let it slosh all the way home... if necessary we still use the toilet... . at the last rest stop we dump it again... . and recharge it the same way for storage...

This has been our process for years... and its worked well for us... .

The piping on the black tank on my TT takes several sharp bends before it exits. I have had it clog a few times in the bends. I would rather spend a few bucks than deal with a clog.

Wished I would have know about that sale I would have had you pick one up for me. Will be in Ft Collins in a few weeks.

Here is a piece of advice that I am not charging for... ..... so it maybe worth what you are paying for it... ... ... .

It is better NOT to leave your black tank open(keep it closed) when you are connected to sewer. When you do, the liquid runs out and leaves the solid behind never giving the potti-chem time to desolve the solids.

Your black system can get one heck of a case of constipation by leaving the black tank open while hooked to sewer.

You can leave your gray water open until the day before you are going to leave. Then close your gray water trapping all that nice soapy water from your sink and shower. Right before you unhook the sewer, OPEN the black water valve letting out all the sewage. When it is empty or after you have flushed the black tank(if you have an on board internal sewer spray), close the black valve and open the gray water valve releasing all that nice soapy water thereby flushing and rinsing your sewer hose... ... ... ...

mi dos centavos... ... ... ... ... .

And speaking of good deals on aluminum boxes... ... ... I have wanted a pair of the wheel well boxes for my truck but did not want to spend the $450 to $500 for them.

Last Monday I was surfing the Craigslist and BAM there they were. $50 bucks for the set! I was all over that guy like gravy on a chicken fried steak!
