more humor

Last spring I posted about a new no facial hair policy where I work. It went into affect Oct. 1, since the **** ******* I work for know that if they tried this **** in the summer they couldn't crew the ferry's.

I've been off since this took affect, I'm going back to work tommorow, and I just get steamed all over again.

Two more years and I'll be vested, I've been looking into hot shotting or RV delivery.

Just had to vent a little, my face is cold:(

To bad about your byrd, I have had mine for over 20 years and I would not want to shave it off. I only have one boss and that is my wife and she that if I shave I will have to find another wife:rolleyes: I wonder if this would make you work any better?

John:rolleyes:

Thanks for the sympathy.

When my wife and I were first getting together she told me she never wanted me to shave. I told her that I may have to someday for my job. She married me any way :D

Blood Sacrifices (shaving)

My condolences. Two years ago, I got whacked on my bike. The last thing I told them was "DO not shave the stash off. It is 25 years old. " I woke up to a sore, naked face. I still razor rash at the ripe old age of 47. DK.

Yup they hired me with it 8 years ago. I'm not the only one, some crew members have been there over 20 years, and the state goes and changes the standards.

Funny how if its unsafe now, why wasn't it unsafe last summer.

I love hairyness. Hats off to your wife John. I've never met a women that likes hairy chests and beards or mustaches for that matter. I just tell them, more for me. I like my guys to look like men. Yum yum!

Beards

Any of you ever try that stuff for beards that suppose to take out the gray. (that brush on stuff) I ususally grow mine out in the winter, and wear a mustache in the warmer months. Each winter noticing it's getting a little grayer. :-laf

What kind of ferry's are you talking about jmeehan , car or people ? Down here on the Gulf Coast of Texas on the D. O. T. car ferry's you can have a beard , no problem . But there is a employee turn over problem on the boats for many reasons . Cant find enough people at times.
