I was in the tahoe national forrest when i noticed my front diffs breather tube puking oil all over the place.

So i went to truckee and pulled the fill plug and had a bunch of water in there.

I bought all the neccecarry stuff and pulled the cover, Cleaned the ring n pinion off with brakclean and put it back together.

I have'nt been in deep water to get water in my axle so i'm guessing my breather tube might be plugged and not letting the condensate out?

Any body else have this happen to them?

info would be helpfull.

Jim, I had water in mine, finally traced it to a crack on top of the 4wd axle servo housing. Found it by feeling around, couldn't see it. The housing is just cheap pot metal, a flying rock could easily do it. Dodge only wanted $35 for the part but I had to change my fluid several times to finally get rid of the milky look.

Another possibility...

If you cleaned your engine compartment without covering the little plastic "valve" on the end of the front axle breather hose (located by the OE air filter base), water intrusion could result.
