Hadley horns/ 2 sets

I am currently running Hadley's in the stealth mode, they are on the cross memger under the radiator, I love them, they have saved a few wrecks, when you honk em... ... ... people scat.

I am wanting to run another set of just horns , I want some that are deep deep, I will run them off of a "T" at the tank and run a seperate solinoid switch to the cab.



What model of horns is deep throated like the Cummins ?

Kevin, I can't help with Hadleys, but I can tell you that the Grovers that I have are probably what you are looking for. I have the Grover models 1748 ( 6" flare, 21 1/4"L) and the 1700 (6" flare, 24 1/2"L). They are DEEP !

I'll second that.........

The Grovers are what I have and they are DEEP. I got a single horn for each truck and they sound great. I have the 23" W/6" bell. I originally had a dual set of air horns which were loud but not deep. After I got the Grover I ran both but it took away from the DEEP sound so I took off the little dual set.



On the 02 I had to mount it between the frame rails. On the 01 I dont have the plastic front end insert so I mounted it behind the bumper. Not as muffled that way. I did have to loosen the bumper to get it in though.

I got mine used from a Truck Salvage yard. $35 a piece. I wasn't too worried about looks as they'd be hidden anyway.
