So two or three times in the last year my wife has had her long hair sucked into the seatbelt when it retracts (on the passneger side). Needless to say this is a painfull experience and I wonder if anyone has a solution or has had this happen to them? It could happen to the drivers side too, but since I keep my hair very short it does not bother me.

JR2 How are you ? I have not been on here in a very long time. Thinking about changing my gear grease? As for as the hair going in the seat balt retractor I do not know. Sounds painfull. I don,t recognize most of the posters on here. Strange Later Turbo Terry

Although the belt may be in the way and more of a problem than pulling hair, you could put something on the belt where it enters the side of the truck to keep it from retracting. Something as simple as a clothes pin might work. bg

My wife has the same problem. Her solution is to cut her hair short enough where it isn't a problem. How many women do you know cut their hair to accomodate their vehicle?

Oh yeah, she the primary driver. :D
