4.09 for Diesel

93 & 96 Package Deal ???

It depends on the station, and the card. Some do this, others don't.

I have used Amex, Discover, and Visa... it varies station to station (I travel cross country time to time).

It really sucks when you use debit and they charge you 45 cents per transaction. When the pump resets, there goes another 45 cents to continue. I found that I have to guess how much fuel I need and then go into the store with the debit card and prepay with the debit card for a bit over the amount that I think I need. Then I pump and go back for the change. That way I only pay one 45 cent transaction. Out here in CA, they charge more per gallon for a credit card then on debit.

if it has a visa or m/c logo use it as a credit card and save the fees

never mind just saw the xtra cc price

Debit cards suck

citi bank has a cedit card called drivers edge that gives 6% back on fuel and groceries up to $500, thats a 24 cent reduction out here.

+ they give you a credit of $0. 01 per mile driven as long as you are not commercial, up to $500 also

there are lots of 5% and 3% gas cards out there too.

It's very frustrating to me as well. I have the tank vent kit, and I like to top off the tank to get a better calculation on mileage; to do so, this can require 38 gallons of fuel.

For some reason, at the local stations with my Visa debit card, there is a $50 limit per transaction. This becomes VERY frustrating!!! Filling up with $4. 09 fuel requires 4 swipes of the card to allow the $155 - 160 it takes to top off!!!

Even though I have the Pilot Points card, if I go inside, I have to leave my debit card, Pilot card, and Driver's License with them... something I'm definately not comfortable doing either.

There sure are a lot of things to stress a fellow out these days!
