early on, illflem said it's electrical and so i assumed maybe the harness somewhere but had no clue. went over all of the grounds and couldn't find the problem... also, early on bill k said it could be induction in the harness. noisy tps... .

so i pulled the tps wires out of the harness back about 2 feet.

NOT A HICKUP... . NOTHING..... DRIVES PERFECT.

INCREDIBLE.....

THANKS FOR ALL OF THE HELP.

SCOTT.

Hmmmm, Bill K is still helping members, only off the board. Stand up guy. I kind of wish he would come back and share with all of us his knowledge. Maybe if the person responsible for ticking him off would just pucker up, apologize, and kiss some serious butt, he would come back.

Bill K. got the shaft

Only those in the know , know where to go :D

Bill K saved so many Members so much greif :)

Come on guys chew my a-- :-{} but face the facts :{

sounds like it was pick up of noise between wires.

some signals were bugging others.

yes, bk and illflem. i guess that was what it was... ... bill k said that that's what it could be... ..... all i know is that i could not find any damage to any of the wires... . the locking/unlocking stopped cold...

???

scott.

it not an uncommon thing with wires within a bundle that carry different digital or analog signals. But the inputs of each need to be properly buffered. And when there is a chance of cross talk from other wires, the one your worried about picking up the noise or either but into different bundles and routed different and or twisted or at worst sheilded. But usually proper buffering and twisting does it.

Shame on the auto designers... .

Ah, the irony...

NOT!

Bob, I don't know you.

BUT, I find it ironic that when a vendor that has caused other vendors to stop posting gets suspended for violating the rules that we all must follow, his loyal followers cry foul!

Bill broke the rules and was punished. HE elected not to come back.

Now before you start typing furiously about how great his products are or about how helpful he was, I can tell you that I know of several people who will not buy his products specifically because of his conduct on this forum no matter how good his products are.

When I made the mods on my truck, it became an extension of the help I received on this forum from another vendor who went farther to help me out.

In all fairness, the one time I did call DTT to inquire about their products, I was treated quite well. AND what he did to help out a fellow member at Muncie was beyond the call BUT, others are just as willing and capable. Unfortunately, they no longer post here.

If you want to continue this further, I suggest we take it "outside".

He was. got suspended for 30 days and elected not to return after his suspension was over. Seems like you either like him alot, or don't like him at all... don't see hardly anyone with a neutral opinion of him. I will say he is an extremely capable transmission man and his products seem to be very very good according to the reports here on the TDR.

i called him regarding my trans problem. he was very helpful and nice. what did he do to get the boot? seems like an easy going guy?

thanks.

I have not used his products, but he did once call me and several times emailed me to help me understand and ssolve some problems I had with my transmission. His advise kept me from needing his products, and that says a lot about him as a person.

The fact that you said you know others that would not use his product, no matter how good they were is a stupid stance for these others to take. Hmmm, how should this go??. Let me see the logic in this. Bill K acted poorly a time or two, while posting comments on this board, only. It has been proven that since the owners of Dodge and Daimler Benz are raving jerks, and have shown their hind quarters to others in the past, then your freinds should not use their produces either?? I do think these friends of yours should go out tomorrow and sell their tainted trucks. This is so that they can retain their honor, self respect, and not be blatant hypocrits.

Extreme1, you therefore must agree with this logic, since it parallels the thinkings of your frinds. By the way, do you feel the same way as your friends do. If so, I would expect you to sell your truck soon, to retain what dignity and honor you still have.

Taking it outside?? Please. If you cant fight verbally, then by all means take it outside. Let me see, I guess we will have to meet in the middle, say in ???? oh what the heck, put-em up :-{}

:D :D :D

Other transmission vendors were there, but they weren't helping!
