Not Likely
I haven't tried them, but I am going to go out on a limb and so no. Here is why:
-Real projector beams rock. No doubt about it. They need a little more time to aim them, but once they are properly set up, the project a clear, well defined line that puts light only where you need it. As a result, they are better in all weather (and much better in fog/rain/snow). You get much more light on the road using the same wattage bulb.
-I install OEM projector beams on every car that I can: Which is to say cars that have an OEM or Stock project beam set up for use in Europe. The OEM parts guarantees the engineering and quality behind the projector beam set up.
-However, I doubt the inexpensive (non OEM) ones on e-bay are up to snuff. Real projector beams use real lenses, made of glass. Just like with a camera, quality optics cost money. I doubt that the inexpensive (non OEM) projectors are any good.
-To the best of my knowledge, there is no stock or OEM projector beams made for our trucks. All of the ones that are available are cheap parts that have no DOT (or the European equivalent) ratings or testing. I also have found that these "tuner" parts use the lowest quality materials, and often don't fit properly.
-"Halo" rings or "Angel Eyes" are something BMW did many years ago to meet the European "city light" regulation. "City lights" are low wattage running lights that meet some cities light pollution regulations (they are used in well lit areas that you don't need headlights for. City lights are designed to control light pollution). They do nothing for us in the US other than aesthetics.
Hope this helps.
