Handguns in CA

Saw in todays paper that the CA Senate has approved a bill that will require proficiency tests & thumb prints to purchase a handgun. Still has to go to the house & the gov. At least Davis has told the senate/house that he wants to see the results of bills passed two years ago before adding more laws. A rider was attached that would automatically issue a concealed carry permit to anyone passing the test - unfortunately is was voted down/removed.



I'm curious how many gang members are going to buy their next handgun legally.....

You'd think those people in Ca. would learn about what happens when you try to limit the LEGAL use of guns or legal gun ownership of law abiding citizens. They outlaw hunting on all thier public lands and the coyotes over populate and come in and eat thier Poodles in their back yards. They inconvienece law abiding citizens so they don't want to go through the hassles of owning a gun and filling out all the permits and getting finger printed etc. etc. and the government has come one step closer to disarming the law abiding citizens. It goes way beyond that, look at the UK and Austrailia and what their distruction of guns and private ownership of guns did for combating crime. IT WENT WAY UP, dramatically, and now those people are sorry they allowed it to happen. The silent majority needs to stay involved and voice your opinions or its all gonna go away in this country also.

Brian, all that s*&t is already necessary here in NJ. It still dont make me feel safe while walking down a street in Newark or Camden.

As far as a CCW permit?? ROFLMAO. Dont exist here.

Krazy Horse, You've hit the nail right on the head. When I started to wake up, and see the wrighting on the wall, (the anti gun movement) I did everything that I could. I too became an life NRA member. AND I vote freedom first. More people need to wake up and realize it CAN happen here just as in the UK and Australia. We all need to keep trying to get the word out too everyone we know, and meet. Have a great day, and good luck.
