That has got to be the best looking bumper for our trucks, period. How much does it weigh with the valence, and how long did it take to get it? I am looking for a real bumper that not add too much weight to the front end.

I tried to weigh it but I went over the limit on my bathroom scale with me and the bumper in my hands. I am going to say it is somewhere between 150 and 200 judging by how heavy it felt when I was holding it and standing on the scale. The stock bumper and all mounting brackets plus towhooks weighed 84 pounds. So say you will be adding about 100 pounds up front if you don't put in a winch.

If you call up Layne he'll give you an idea of how long. He told me 4 - 6 weeks and it ended up taking about 3. I believe that he just sold his building and is in the process of moving right now so there might be some delays.

Sport grill with the bar inserts (not honeycomb) and both sport bumpers are still available. I'd like to sell them as a set. Somebody make me a reasonable offer and they're yours. And when I say reasonable I mean it won't take too much to make me happy. I want that stuff out of here. Local or close to local would be good to avoid having to ship the things.

GeisJ,

If you go to the OTHER forum and do a word search on cats you will find a thread called "how do I keep cats off my truck" or something to that affect. On the last page is a picture of a dirty 2G with valance.

Doc,

I almost certain Layne makes custom rear bumpers too.
