Holy Snow Batman!

6.5 power enhancements

I've now had my '02 truck 1 year/25,000+ miles. Here is the report card:

*Never been back to the dealer for any problems.

*Drives straight as an arrow (no pull).

*Lift pump still putting out 14 at idle, 10-12 at cruise, 8. 5 @ WOT up a 7. 5% grade.

*No transmission problems.

*Never any "death wobble" (unlike my '95 2500).

*No rattles, clunks, squeaks, etc.

*Is still a blast to drive.

Aside from DM's cheapa$$ omissions of things like fender wells and tinted windshield, I'm perfectly happy with the truck. Aside from the BHAF, the engine is stock.

Same here

Except for a paint problem of paint etching when a bird bombed it, no problems at all. This is a work truck and weighs 9900. Tool boxes stick out and block the airflow, but it still gets 15 MPG.

At 15000 miles the factory rubber shows no wear. Will rotate tires soon. Happy birthday to us!

My early 01 (made in Jan '00) is over 3 yr but 3 yr in May when I bought it.

38,000 miles

Went to dealer twice for Overhead comp and Tranfer case/driveline seal

Have a box and a pusher pump that delivers consistant #s.

get almost 20 MPG when the wind is with me on a 8000# truck...

on the last line, I have a shell, tools, extras. when I go camping, I must be close to 9000.....

Gonna buy the truck from having to lease it for 3 yrs, DC has a great program, I can just redo the payment for the amount, no money needed, and go on... . or I could walk away on a turn in but why on earth would I do that? hehe

I love my Dodge, been in 4 Show and Shines and won 3 awards. 2 at May Maddness. and 1 at Diesels in December at Pahrump, Nv.
