Thanks guys. Sadly this isnt a good B-day for me at all... This is the worst week of my life... Last friday night me and my girlfriend split up because she needs to find out whats going on with school next year and she needs to do it quick, she also needs some time alone... . Its just something she needs i guess. She still loves me and everything and wants to get back together but she needs her time right now... Im really confused. . Heart is in stomach, depressed... . sad 19th bday:{



we are going out to dinner tonight, so hopefully things can get straightened out for now, and i wont be as confused...

Breaks are sometimes good... .



Spent 7 months apart from my g/f of 3 years (I mean, not talking at all, as I spend 9 months of the year 1000 miles away from her anyway while I'm at school) and we got back together in February... . so much better now. She needed to figure things out, and it was good for me to see the other side of things.

Don't worry. One day when you just "need to go out with the guys" she'll feel the same way, even though it might only be forthe weekend.



Happy Birthday. You have 359 days, and some odd hours to enjoy being a "teen". Enjoy it. Tak your truck out, Roll the windows down, put some music on, drive around, detail your truck.

Whenever you would have been with her, just do something for yourself, or for others. Mow somebodies lawn, think of a new metal part, and make it. Don't sit on the couch and sulk. You are very able bodied, don't waste it.

When I was 18 I had my high school sweetheart and I surly thought we would wed someday down the road. Then she went off to college and we did the weekend thing for about 1 month. After that she broke it off because she needed to "experience college life". I was so heartbroken I could have puked daily. Then to compound matters every time she came home for a visit she would call me up and want to get together so I would oblige hoping we would patch things up. After awhile I realized it was not meant to be and she was just trying to kill time while "stuck at home". However, I did spend the next summer having casual evenings with her which I used strictly for MY benefit .

When she finally picked up on the fact that I could give two craps about her and was using her body solely for my own pleasure she tried to get all serious again. You see Nick, women want to feel needed but when they realize your over them they try to suck you back in just to humor their own weird emotions.



About 3 years later I met my wife and I can assure you that my former girlfriend does not even hold a candle to her. You have to understand that the quality's you want in a person at 19 years old are not the same quality's you will want when your 30 years old. I did marry young by today's standard (I was 23 and my wife was 25) but I had a career all lined up as did my wife so we avoided most of the financial pitfalls young people face today. We will celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary this year and we just had a baby girl a couple of month's ago and I can tell you that my former girlfriend is so far from my mind that I've forgotten most of the things that had to do with her.



I'm not trying to discourage your relationship with your girlfriend but I do think you both need to have a taste of whats out there and then you will know if it's meant to be. Also, don't sit home like a chump while you X-GF is spreading her wings, do the same thing and see how high you can soar.
