Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Happy with my truck

I raced a friends 2003 Cummins that has , filter, straight thru exhaust and a Western Diesel box on it.

I was on his bumper until around 90 then I slowly started pulling on him, we let off just above 95.

I'm happy because that 03 put an ass whooping on my other friends 03 6. 0 Ford. The funny thing is another friend has an 03 Cummins HO with a Western diesel box on it that will run circles around both of us.

What is a Western Diesel box? I haven't until now heard of it.

I could be very wrong, but I think the "Western Diesel" box is a re-badged Power Edge EZ.

I think your right. That particular person had an 01 with a WD box and it looked just like my Edge EZ.

Supposedly WD does some tweaking to it. I do know on the 03 's the HO responds WAY better to bombing.

Like I said I could hang with the one 03 but the HO is just gone.

It did go 15. 20 at the track and made 378rwhp on the rollers.
