05 5.9 5 speed - This Truck is new to me. Was running fine took a drive in about 45 minutes of stop and go traffic. It started not wanting to go into gear. With the motor off goes into each gear fine. Is it possible the clutch got hot ? I let it cool put the truck in gear and started it, it does drag with the brake off I can feel the truck move a little until it starts. There is 144K on the truck I am pretty sure it has the original clutch ?
I am kind sided with replacing the Clutch and Hydraulic unit all at once ? should I try the hydraulics first and see if this helps ?
which clutch setup if preferred if I end up doing it ?
