So I put in another set of injectors and all of a sudden I ran into a hard start. Acts as if there is no fuel at the injectors when it sits for an hour or more. I have tried other sets of injectors, all new injector lines, new o-rings on the nozzle tubes (I think thats what they are called) and tightened all the lines throughout the whole system. Could this be an injector pump problem? What else could cause the fuel to back off?

Hopefully my signature shows up. Thanks all

Get some one to crank it over while you loosen one of the injector lines

and see if you are getting fuel to the injector's.

So when I said I tightened all the lines I lied, I forgot the two that go to the RASP and apparently that was what was loose . . . . after a whole lot of #@$%!

I hate it when that happens! ha

Actually, thats why I have adapted the ol double check everything rule (without exception). I make too many mistakes or oversights to not double check things. "Stuff" just happens. .

For example, a couple weeks ago when I re-located my frantz bypass oil filter I was sure everything was "good". Then said "time for the double-check". Ended up realizing I had loosened the oil hose fittings on the bottom of the unit so that it would keep the twist out of the lines while it was being moved. They were still only finger tight. . Had I cleaned up all the tools, etc and fired it up. . It wouldnt have been long until i had oil everywhere, or/and worse - no oil! Glad I double checked. . Its just got to be done if you want to do good work.

Good for you that you found your problem and didnt have a failed part somewhere.
