Seems I am having hard starting problems again. I noticed it this weekend so Sunday I pulled out the fuel return check valve and found that the spring was compressed again. I stretched it back out to 0. 55" but I'm afraid that the spring has lost it's elasticity and strength.

Does anyone know a source for this small spring? The dodge dealership wants to sell me the whole bango bolt/check valve, for like $80. But if I have to do it I'm going to buy one, got to have my truck running right now. Vette is down for carb rebuild :)

Thankx for the help!

They have the whole check valve?

I'll give them a call on the tele tomorrow. I need that part bad.

I don't think that anything else could be wrong with it, it's acting the way it did before when the spring was compressed.

Don't forget to have them send you a few seals/gaskets. Think Piers only charged a buck or two. My old ones where getting brittle and cracking.
