03 6pd 3500, 47k miles, cranks 2-4 seconds to start, once running its fine no matter what your doin. Ilde or full throttle under load runs fine restart is a touch faster than initial start but there's still 2-3 seconds cranking. Comparing to our 04 auto 17k miles, hit the key and its runnin, both trucks use same fuel, wait for manifold heat, etc Any ideas????????????

Fuel filter, Fuel filter, Fuel filter... ... ... .

I agree with the Doc. Fuel filter's a good place to start.

Failing that, check to be sure the grid heaters are both actually working.

It might be the lift pump check that also... . My o3 had the same problem, I took it to dealer and they retrofitted the new pump into the tank... . But if I was you I would just go with the Glacier Fuel kit and save the heart ache... JMHO. . Wes
