hard starting,,

After sitting for a while (1/2 day or overnight) truck is hard to start. When it does it acts like its flooded, real rough for a bit then levels out. No performance issues, runs strong. Doesnt act like a fuel pump since i can mash on it and no stumble.



Any thoughts? I do have the high rail pressure code but I see on here alot of people do that have boxes.

Hope you are not having injector failure. Does the oil look diluted or overfull?

unload your boxes and try it stock. hsmith idea is good too

Someone else had mentioned injectors. Does that mean one or do all have to be replaced? Are aftermarket injectors better?

I think I will drop it off tomorrow and have them check it out.

Weird actually, they told me I had water in the fuel. My water light had only come on once during this time and I had never seen it before. Said my injectors were rusty and needed new ones. I let them drain the tank but said no on the injectors. Its been running and starting fine ever since.
