Archived hard steering and brakes apply on their own.

got a problem after playing in the mud. we were mud bogging and the power stering went hard and brakes applyed on their own. this happened all of a sudden. we checked it out and there was a lot of bubbles (cavitation) in the pump and the pump was trying real hard. after letting it sit for a while and bleeding the system still there no change. tryed driving and when turning the brakes apply. pedal goes down when steering wheel is turned. we checked all lines and no blockage.

I had EXACTLY the same problem, and while doing the same activity!



The regulator valve is hanging up in its bore in the pump.

You need to get another pump.

Try the AGR pump sold by Summit Racing, $159. 99 and well worth it.
