Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Hard to start 01

I just boughy this trk a couple of months ago and have trouble starting after it sits for awhile. It seems to bleed off fuel pressure and take 5 to 10 seconds of cranking to get it to fire up,but runs super after it starts. This trk is equipped with a full banks kit and has 206 K miles,but I have known the trk since it came off the lot and bought it when the guy got a new dually. If any one has any ideas I sure would love to hear it!

have you checked the fuel pressure? changed the filter?

was just done before I bought the trk and fuel pressure reads 14-15 on the gauge,so I think that should be o. k.
