But if I would have voted for him, and Bush would have lost, I would be very upset right now!!

No, No Max, we knew about Harry, in fact we had discussed him before the elections. I said it was too close, Bush needed ALL the votes he could get to beat Num-nuts. Wrong election to make a statement I felt.

Yeah He has some pretty good points on the death tax and a few other things but if you listen to him very long he gets a little scary!!! Like he wants to disband the military and bring the fleet home, he says China is to far away to bother us. Huh??????
I agree Gene making a statement would be good and making a strong statement would be even better. Its just hard sometimes to decide on who to make the statement with. Pete

hmmmmm... there are a few things that he'd be Constitutionally required to uphold. "Provide for the common defense" being one of them. I'd love to live long enough to see a government with the Libertarian ideals (and subject to/respectful of Constitutional restraint) operating a small, unobtrusive government by of and for the people of a large productive righteous-living country. I'd love even more for that country to be this one. I just don't see it coming real soon... rm

I think a man like Harry is what this country needs to get back to what freedom really means. We have little of the freedom left that this country was founded on. While some of Harrys goals sound far fetched to many they are based on a simple principle of a true free society with constatutionaly limited government. And while he can hope for the world there are many restraints that would prevent him from getting there, but at least his sights are set at the right target.
