Has anyone almost had their ticket punched by a cell phoned driver?

I need to get an air horn or some photon torpedoes. I like to talk on my cell phone but if you can't even walk and chew gum pull over!

bumper sticker

Saw a bumper sticker a while back "How would your driving be woth that cell phone shoved up your A$$", be good for the front bumper. Seems some people can drive and talk but most around here can't. I find most people sitting at a green light, driving half the speed limit, wandering over the line blah blah blah are yapping on their phone. At there's a lot around here.

Always some A$$hole in a BMW with that phone stuck on his head! Suckers can't see my 3500! When ya honk ya get the middle finger... hummm, and those weenie shrinks wonder why we have road rage!



My buddy Cal from work and I were out on a Saturday just cruising, when some dumb a$$ cuts us off then gives the "bird", we had nothing better to do so we followed the guy for 60 some miles, mr. BMW was so scared he went to a police station... we just passed him by. The cops must have thought this guy was a real case... but then I guess he was.

A worse problem to me, is that with new cellphone technology, that zipperhead on the cellphone may be checking his stocks, playing video games, or surfing the net while piloting his/her 2+ ton unguided missle down the road.



It never ceases to amaze me how some of these "drivers" do such stupid stunts while motoring down the road, then feel so protected in their little cage, that they'll "flip off" another driver.

These same morons would NEVER think about trying that if you were standing in front of them.

BTW (I've been flipped off more by females, than males. Especially females in SUVs).

Shovelhead, I'm with you. I've seen more females screw up driving in SUV's than men. Had one do the old "Gotta get in front of the guy in the pickup" manuever to me today. When I checked my rear view mirror, there wasn't a car for at least a half-mile. But she NEEDED to get in the 80 or so feet I had between me and the car in front of me. GGGRRRRRRR!!!!!!

What's the deal with people trying to get in front of pickups. Then they slow down!!



I like how some people try to cut in front of you during traffic jams after they just flew up the lane that is closed. They just come over thinking I'll yield. They even do it to my big bucket truck with a huge channel iron bumper. I keep waiting for someone to crunch but they always back off - so far...

Yeah I got rear ended by some suit and tie in a van years ago before cell phones were even cool. I got out and walked back to his van and the wimp rolled his window up and called 911. And I ain't even scarey lookin'.

Amianthus, I can't believe anyone would have enough HP to be able to pass your truck I had a lady yesterday driving a Lumina take the shoulder to pass me and then did a very nice job cutting me off! Here it was a nice old grandma driving

When some jerk is on the phone and driving erratically, I have found a sustained blast with my Hadleys does the job just fine. Just stay on it until they have to hang up. Especially effective at intersections. While in motion, the smoke treatment is the best.

To answer the question... . Yes, but by my wife while she was driving the car with us in it!!

It's never an important call, usually the M. I. L. just wanting to "know where you are". What a friggin albatross.

I tell my wife, if we move or get new cell phones, I'm the one deciding who gets the numbers. She's OK with that.
