I have been looking for a 215 pump for quite a while and found this webiste in a google search. They have what looks to be a 913 pump for $1144. Seems pretty cheap for a 215. What do ya think??

I am sure the price would be much higher if you didn't have a 215 pump to return to them for a core.

One thing that raises an red flag about this company is their product description: "P7100 electronic fuel injection pump"

And they obviously wouldnt take a 160 as a core (which is all i have).

vaughn, i noticed that also yesterday, and wondered why they had it titled that way. I guess if i cant find a decent deal on a 215, ill just get the 160 tuned up for now. I read through some old replies through a search (some that i missed from my own questions) and it sounds like the 160's have a bit of potential.

Thanks,

Kevin,

I didn't buy a pump but I had mine rebuilt thru them. ;)

They turned it up to the high side of the scale. :-laf

It really did its job--- 460hp-980-tq. Plus it was only $750.

If you do go to them, make sure they turn it up for you.

If you pm, we can talk on the phone.

This is something I'm looking into also , but just looking for about 350-400 HPs , should be good for everyday , towing Airstream , maybe 9,000lbs top , mtns. , ex. brake , millage & longevity are what I'm trying to do with , so keeping an eye out to see about ,moding the 160 pump vs. a 215 , best $$$ spent .

No matter how much you mod a 160, it won't ever have the lightened governer assembly nor the fueling capacity of a 215. The Gubner part is the what makes the big difference for us guys satisfied with modest HP. The driveability.

I bought two 215's from a salvage yard for $1000. They're out there. And the bonus part was that they came with functional shutoff solenoids and one had a #11 plate in it! And I was using a cable for shutoff at the time. :p

Both salvage pumps work great.

Go gettum! Oo.
