I'm getting ready to order my Warn M15000 winch and 4buy4.com seems to have the best prices. I've never heard of them, however. Anyone else?

I did!

O. k. I tried out 4buy4.com. I just received the Warn M15000 winch. Maybe I have been out of the accessory market for quite some time, but what I found was, this thing is built like a brick I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER house! We are talking a winch that boasts 7/16" cable, with a gear train that can handle a 15,000-lb. load! It looks like it belongs on a tank! I've worked on programs that require massive assemblies such as Humvee installations, the International Space Station, etc. , but what I can honestly say is that this thing is not the ordinary jeep winch.

Here's my plug for 4buy4.com. If I dislike a business, chances are that you will never hear from me. If I like a business, I will use them again and again (and even recommend them). If I have to pay more than street, I will, if it includes superb customer support. However, in the case of a Warn winch, we already know that they build a great product, but the price seems to have an extremely wide range (I got quotes up to $1800). What I found from 4by4.com is:

What I didn't get:

1. A real smooth sales pitch.

2. A pat on the back saying that I am buying one of the toughest winches on the market.

3. An email notification of a UPS tracking number.

4. A store front.

What I did get:

1. An authorized Mail Order Warn Dealer.

2. Lowest price (guaranteed) on the web for Warn products! (I've noticed that the price has already been raised since I ordered my winch).

3. Quick, free shipping, and my credit card wasn't charged until the unit was shipped.

I received exacly what I ordered in an expedient manner. I am not affiliated with this dealer in any way but would recommend them highly.

I'm scared of breaking the mounting hardware or bumper welds (my welds) before anything on the winch goes south. Take your usual 8000 lb. winch and double it.

When mine was sitting on the doorstep, the box was a little rough. When I tried just picking it up I found out why. It's an awckward 135 lbs. , and the UPS guy probably does'nt like me anymore. :D

I know what you mean Brian, although for me, it is the receiving guy at my company that no longer likes me. Little does he know, but my 200-lb. bumper will be arriving next week. :eek: :eek: :{
