Hey I'm alive and kick'n... . thanks for checkin up on me though... . someone's gotta keep track of me... .
Between work, breakin flex plates, KDP'ing, underhood technology R&D, sermon's at church and, just plain sleeping (not alot around here) I don't get on here till late at night usually... .
OH DON'T CHANGE THE SUBJECT... . get yer butt's up here for the 31'st..... darn slackers...
i wish i could be up there for the 31st but i'm still going to be in korea but i will stop by and talk to you on the way up to alaska. You broke your flexplate what did you use for a replacement?
I'm trying out a heavier replacement 'plate presently. It is thicker and I'd describe it as half way between a "race certified" plate and a stock plate.
It only took about 5 miles for my original to go from "working fine" to "pooched".
It started out sounding like a rock in the tire tread and ended sounding like a bucket of bolts being dragged on the pavement...
no fun... .
All in all though, I got away for a long time on the stocker especially since I pretty much abused the snot out of it... .
Now I know what to listen for. Philip told me I don't have to drop my transmission to install the upgraded plate. Just pull her back on studs! I said studs, not suds..... Jezzzz
