Has anyone here tried the II 71? I was just wondering where this turbo would be a benefit over the 66. I only plan on turning maybe just a little over 4,000 rpm or so. Drag racing only. . No towing, just a little street driving, and drag racing. I just sent my 66 to upgrade to the silver bullet, though I was wondering about the 71. .

Turbos

Give me a call. We'll talk turbos (II71, Silver Bullet Etc. . )

I've run a few of them.

pm me if you don't have my number anymore.

that turbo is incredible, spools quick for a big turbo, moves a lot of air, and will take a lot of abuse ,you can see it peeking thru my hood

We are actually putting the 71mm wheel in our Silver Bullet. It's called our Silver 71 and it has been pretty good. In this configuration you get the better turbine side which helps spool up and lowers back pressure. It has been working very well with our Modified CP3 and Super CP3 with Dual Feed Line. Thanks

If you feel that's the best choice for a very fueled single that needs to spool well, sounds good to me. . I take it you feel this would be an improvement over the Silver Bullet 66?

Hey Jim,

I know of a 12V that has :D

But I know of another that has some data logging capabilities that should also get shot ;)

You up for a few swaps on the dyno.

Maybe with the Oct DHRA thing I should just have a private dyno session for you, me, Mike (Gunracer 1), John (The Black 05 that did 709 last 08/05), and few more out of the crew.

Whaddya think. Or just do BIG DAWG DYNO DAY and see who comes out on top? Oo.

All in good fun man. Besides, you're gonna stomp us all.

Brett, How does this turbo spool for daily driving? About what boost does this turbo produce cruising 75mph flat and level? As a single what is teh HP range?

or should I call?

The silver Bullet turbo sure looks like a neat piece, added with a super CP3 pump, and I believe you have a package that will spool and make cool clean power. Brady and Shane are the leader in bringing out new and innovative parts. I just finished installing one along with a ZZ manifold with the NX spray bar installed on a max ported RacMac CR head. I really like the duel feed .

We'll have to see what happens after this trip. I think I've got it dialed in ok for now (boost drive are 1 to 1 or a tiny bit better) I did get one thing in the mail today and might just have a little time to play before I leave again.

That Oct date might be getting close to sand box time but we'll see, if I'm going to be home during that time I'll drop a leave I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER. Yea swaps aren't too bad either.
