Any precautions or suggestions installing a 120VAC block heater receptacle at the rear. I usually 'back in' during the Winter.

I'm considering one of those home outside recptacles with a screw cover, but they all seem to be female?!? Thanks for watching.

I don't see a problem, I put a 6 foot extension on mine so that it goes across to the drivers side so I can not pull out and rip the cord out of the heater just the extension may get damaged.I have two cords run down to tow hook one other for a trickle charger, that said have something that will not snag and will handle the wattage I thing it is 200 watts not that much. I also have a welding cable with connector to the battery on the rt. side for my winch when installed and for my jumper cables and a big inverter for 120 volt for temporary use.

Thanks. I'm probably over thinking it. I too am planning to install a 1200W inverter. [My wife's lower back gets sore on some trips & thought I'd like to enable her to use a heating pad.] 1200W/12V=100A? Whew! Am I looking at attaching 8 ga wire to a battery post? I'd appreciate some advice on that mechanical aspect.

I like your idea of making a trickle charger hook up convenient also. I use Anderson terminations for my R/C plane batteries, so I'm all set to use up to 45A connectors for battery charging. Thanks.
