Has anyone installed a power rear window in a Ram 1500 truck?

Hi. I have now a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic which is the same body style as earlier models.
I’d like a power opening window like my prior truck had. The ceiling has the spot even to mount the switch. My truck now has a manual opening one.
Any suggestions? Thanks again!

comrade - i have a 18 2500 - awhile back asked several glass companies about installing rear slider ( non power )

the glass guys all moaned and groaned about how difficult the install would be. no callbacks on price either...

thats all i can add to your question. i live in colorado, where motivation has been a problem in general, amongst younger folks who enjoy weed more than work. cheers

I'd think it would be quite a PITA... My 06 rear power slider's cable broke and it was beyond difficult just getting everything dismantled. The motor/drive system has its own bracket and such. You'd have to get the glass guys to pull your manual slider out and then install the power slider... Then it would be up to you to complete the install. Maybe you'll get lucky and there will already be a bracket/mounting point for the motor and maybe even a wiring harness. I'd say take a look under the trim back there and see if it's doable. It won't be cheap upgrade I'm guessing.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Does the motor mount in the center below the window? Funny but my last three trucks had power windows and I never looked for it.
