Has any one used these to fix vibration problems that cant be found on wheel balance machines? I have goodyear ATS's that have vibrated at 60 mph since new and have been rebalanced 3 times and rotated on the rims and 2 of them were replaced alltogether and the truck still shakes at 60. I saw these Centramatics in my new TDR and wandered if they might work

I have the centramatics, there are a few other ways to balance the tires I suppose, But I like the centramatics. I like that it is a one time purchase, and they should last for years to come. I do not like the ideal of squirting "stuff", "slime" what ever, in my tires. I run two sets of wheels, and my balancers can serve both without drama, just slide them on. They definitly help with the on highway ride, it is smoother and no vibration in the wheel. I have not tryed any other brand, or type of balancer. these work for me, so that is what I stayed with. Good luck

Go with the counteract beads. They made a believer out of me.

I have heard that the Centramatics will lead you to post antagonistic threads..... :p

Thanks for the replys, where can you get these beads at? will tire stores have them or do I need to go to a 4x4 shop? Do you rebalance the tires then put them in, tear off the existing weights and put them in , or just put them in the the way it is?

All of the above except the rebalancing. You can leave the weights on or tear them off. You should also purchase filtered valve cores, about 75¢ each from whoever sells the beads. You can install the beads without even removing your tires from the truck if you have a way to air them up afterwards. Just jack one wheel at a time, remove the valve stem, the air will come out. Take a plastic tire valve cap and cut the end off and insert it into a small funnel, use tape or glue to hold it on. Now with the tire valve at 6 o'clock you can screw your threaded funnel on and pour the beads in. Use a small piece of wire to push any clogs though. Put in a filtered core, reair and your ready to go.
