I just put 4 of them on back in October. I got

285/75/16's on the stock wheel. I have had BF G's

mud and at's on my Ford's before and I still think

there about the best tire you can get but they are

over priced I feel. The Cooper's were $480 out the

door and I really like them. I had 305 Pro Comp

mudders on before the Cooper's and they only lasted 30,000 miles. I like how quiet they are and

I had them off road alot in some sandy 2 trackers

back in hunting season and they were great. We have not had any snow here in MI yet so I caint

tell you how there are in it but they seem good

in the rain. After only 4,000 miles on then I

caint tell you how lont they will last but they

still look brand new. I will be getting the Cooper's again.

I've run 2 or 3 sets of them. Good tire for the money. Usually got around 40k out of them w/ proper rotation.

I can get 4 of the above in the LT245/75-16 shipped to me for 357, shipping included.

Were the tires you used the Discoverer M&S, or a different version of that tire? These are extremely siped, for snow and wet use that the regular tires don't have.

I have not run the tires pictured. Currently I am running Cooper Discoverer M&S in 255-85 size, both siped and studded, for snowmobile season on my '01. I have used these tires in this configuration for 5 winters now with no problems on my last truck, a V-10, SRW, and I hope they work as good on my DRW.

Copper tires

I have them on my 95. These are the approved studless traction tires. and they do work good on packed snow and ice. Have not had them in deep snow but they should do real good. :)

Was reading an article in the local paper, concerning a class action suit that was settled by Cooper dealing with tread separation. Didn't say which tires, so maybe it was just passenger tires or one particular product line. I don't have Cooper tires, so I didn't really dig into this futher... Maybe someone else out there knows more...

Cooper Studless Traction Tires

PowerWagon

I put those tires to a good test last thursday hauling the horses home from the Livestock Sale Yard. 15 miles of very slick roads and windy as heck. They are the greatest. I would see the trailer in the side mirrors every so often but never got in a jam. Of course I was hauling at a steady 35 MPH. Just to slick for any more speed than that.

I'm not sure about where you live, but up here in Anchorage it's pretty tough to find good tires at less than $100 apiece. If it was me, I'd pick them up in a heartbeat!

coopers

my Dad has had cooper weather masters on his last 3 vehicles dodge neon, phord:eek: 1/2 ton 2wd, and just on moms new s-10 so coopers are decent haven't had any experience with the ones you want, though they look like they'll bite :D

as long as we're talking tires

what 19. 5 treads do you know about that would work hard? I think Michelin XZT's 225/70R19. 5 on front and oliver blizzard trac retreads on back?:D

GoodTires

Buddy at work has those on his chebby and loves them. All four studded! I run the mud n snow variety and am on my 3rd winter. Messed up the right front one a little last year with a bad track bar but its still got tread on it. I'd go for them.

Ok, well, I sprung for it. Haven't had any reason to complain, either.

I put Discoverer H/T's on the front, which are M&S Rated, as well.

The back got Discoverer M + S, which is the snow tire shown above. It is silent, sticks well wet or dry and haven't had a chance to test them on snow.

I got the E rated tires all the way around, and I do think they ride a bit stiff, but they are so much grippier than that I took off, and in spite of them being 265 / 75's on the narrow stock rims, it seems almost impossible to get them to roll onto the sidewall at all.

I did not get studs. I will probably run these up to Alaska... will be good for mild traction needs.

Overall, I'm very happy... we'll see how they do in snow.
