Here I am

Has anyone used second gen Dodge mounts in their 73-87 conversion?

Motor mounted- now the fun begins

Look what I came across

I have a complete 92 W250 I'm using for my conversion, the rubber in my mounts is shot anyway, plus I want as much vibration isolation as possible, I remember my 95 being much smoother. Has anyone used the later mounts? I recall someone w/ a Suburban using later one, but his was 2wd. Thanks

The only problem with the second gen Dodge is that there to wide for the Gm frame!

They will fit but you'll have to ditch the crossmember and loose the gm mounts and make you own mounts once you get the engine situated where you want.

I have a 84 chevy K-30 srw, and a 95 12 valve. I used the 95 engine mounts, The pass side fit good, drivers I had to take off about 1. 5'' from the top frame rail. I also ditched the entire factory cross member and mounts. I built across member from round tube. As soon as figure out how to put pics on here I will. I'm also using a NV 4500 from a 99' with a chevy output shaft, dodge adapter, A&A 1 5/8 adapter, 87' GM 205. I'm wecome to questions.
