Does the 2007 dually have the running light on the tailgate or has it been moved to above the rear bumper. Any pictures would be great.

It is mounted to the body just below the tailgate and above the bumper. You can now run with your tailgate out and still have the lights.

Anyone think i could add this to my 05? The tail gate is off the truck. My A. R. E. cap has the "walk-in door" option.

Tailgate light

Apparently the Laramie has the tailgate light mounted by the bumper and the SLT has the light mounted on the actual tailgate. Not sure why the difference!!! Personally I like the light on the tailgate better... ..... yet mine is by the bumper. My . 02

I saw a light bar on Geno's garage for $60, it mounts right under the tailgate like the one in the picture above of the 07 dually. It says it is a brake light on Geno's garage, but you could wire it to your running lights, it uses Leds so it should be bright and use very little power.

Watch it! The clearance for the light bar between the tailgate when it is open is minimal!!!.

It may work but when you open the tailgate it could crush it...

The shape of the OEM Dodge light is cut to allow for the edge of the gate to

miss the light... . hence the $88. 00 price!!!

i ordered it from my dealer, it was diffenitly not 88 bucks i paid 46 bucks, it came with screws for mounting it, i through the screws out and drilled the holes out to 1/4" and then used 1/4" stainless bolts, then tapped into the license plate light for power and ground, i do wish it was LEDs but it still looks killer, i figured it was alot better than using the three led lights off of my other truck, took me prolly 20 mins to drill bolt and wire up. PCowan you are right with the clearence issue, it is VERY minimal

'07 Rear Clearance Marker Lamp Part Number?

Hello TDR-land,

Does anyone know the Dodge part number and price for the '07 rear clearance marker lamp used on the 3500 DRW Laramie (the one located on the panel between the bottom edge of the tailgate and the rear bumper)?

Are there any other parts that need to be ordered along with it (electrical harness, mounting hardware, etc. )????? If so, what are the part numbers?

As always, thanks!
