Thanks, TDR Staff

crawled out of my 12v cave and bought a CR!

Has anyone tried The product " Pure Diesel"?

Went by one station around the corner a few nights ago, it was $3. 449, went by tonight and its at $3. 659!! Think I'll stock up on regular gas and start driving the 4 runner more!

to the patriot: haven't bought diesel in 4 years!? what's your secret? for the record, it's 3. 65 in portland, or now. i want to get a transfer tank with the truck I'm hoping to buy in order to "stock up" if I find a reasonable price somewhere. btw, what does "puc" mean at the truckstops? the diesel prices for "puc" are often 10-20 cents cheaper.

It's funny. In 1998 a barrel of oil was around $11 - $12(US). Now it is 8 - 9 times higher.

My income hasn't went up that much.

I don't buy the shinola they are saying the dollar isn't worth as much. If that was the case, our wages would keep up with inflation. For most folks, that is not the case.

I'll keep the rest of my thoughts to myself. :)

yeah, has gone up here as well, and then the brainiacs at the state capitol thought it would be a good idea to hike the fuel taxes . 05 a gallon this year, and possibly up to . 085 over the next 2 years. On top of that, they hiked the sales tax . 25%, upped registration fees, and a few other taxes got boosts... . talk about smart idiots. Woohoo, lets kick the man while he is down! Minnesotas Gas tax was 20 cents a gallon before this hike, now its . 25 and will possibly make it to damn near 30 cents in the near future. Makes me sick. I dont even know why I live here anymore. They hiked my property tax last year (~300 bucks more a year) and now this.

I think my truck plates and my ID will stay Michigan for a while longer now :) just to stick it to the losers.

If they would freaking TIME the traffic lights around the entire state, we'd get much better city millage around here. Though MN was liberal and green and all that hippy crap? Sure as heck doesn't show in how our roads are utilized (30 cars stopping for one crossing an intersection!).

Ain't that the freaking truth???!!! And they just keep adding MORE redlights! Why not have the freaking side traffic have to WAIT on the light instead of constantly clogging the main road to let out 1-2 cars? AND why not turn the lights to flashing in off-peak times? (red for side road, yellow for main road)

Oh never mind... this is GOVERNMENT we are talking about. They do NOTHING logically!

I'm from Michigan, it's not like that there. When I moved to Minnesota, I called the city about that. Apperently "traffic studies" shows it's more efficient.

Yeah, right, in other words, someone "sold" the system at a "deal".

As of this morning, it was 3. 789 at the station down the street from me.

Who knows what it will be next week.

There is a Cheveron station near the freeway that has had its price at 4. 15 for the past week.

Needless to say, I dont buy there.

Ya, one of our "CHEVRON" stations where I live is $. 65/gallon more than regular unleaded! I will not buy there either!

I picked a really bad week to take a 2000 mile round trip.

heh.

I will be going to Mesa Az 1st week of April. I was awaiting for the fuel to go down. Last month the experts had said it was to be down just about now. So I didn't top off my truck 100 gallon plus fuel storage with inbed tank. Now it looks like it going to be at least 3. 859 around here. Petaluma (Northern Calif) as time get closer to leaving I will get just enough to get to Quartsite and then Mesa where it is usually the lowest. Who knows what it will be by then Man I am afraid 4 buck may look cheap come a year or two??????????
