LesStallings,
We really like the cast aluminun look for two reasons, one it cools the fluids a lot better than a cover that is powder coated as powder coating is a very good insulator, plus they show up more in the dark underneath of the truck if you want to show it off. They are clear anodized by the way so keeping them clean is easy etc! To date we have had 100% excellent customer response with the PML products, plus these covers and pans are their main business and because of that they are very fast about getting new appliactions built. As an example the front diff on the new trucks was out in a month or two, then there needed to be a rework on it because DC made some minor changes, within 60 days the new part #10740 was available and the fit is perfect!! By the way if you want them polished or black powder coated they are available that way, we just always want customers to know that they are going to retain more fluid heat if you do it that way!!
