I had the Mag-Hytec rear differential cover on my 2001 Dodge/Cummins (6-speed) and experienced a few problems with it; drain plug got stuck (torqued to their specs too) and the cover leaked. Not really a big deal, just a hassle. For what I tow, the 8-quart capacity wasn't necessary either. I read about the problems with Mag-Hytec covers for the AAM and knew that wouldn't be my choice this time around.
Once I discovered the PML covers and scrutinized their quality, the decision to buy them was easy. Their rear cover doesn't add much more capacity over stock, but it will work well for me. Too as evidenced in the photos, I opted, at the advice of DPP (thanks, by the way) for the as-cast aluminum. I really like the PML covers Oo.
